As UNIQLO's global reach continues to grow, we see a continuing trend of some of Japan's most iconic franchises emerging from the archive. Earlier this year, we saw UNIQLO unarchive their Super Mario Family Museum collection from 2019, as well as their Super Mario 35th anniversary and Mario Kart Friendship collections from 2020. So far, it's low-hanging fruit in terms of global recognition, but it's a play that all the same shows the strength of UNIQLO as a Japanese brand.
