While Yoshihiro Togashi's legendary manga series Hunter x Hunter may continue to flicker between publication and breaks, the cultural impact it created is showing no signs of slowing down. Perhaps the most referenced scene in the series' history is once again being tapped by none other than BANPRESTO for an all-new crane game-exclusive item.

Officially hitting arcade crane games starting today, BANPRESTO is teaming up with Hunter x Hunter to deliver a ridiculous new take on Gon Freecss' adult form, turning him into a monster 60cm ballpen. The instantly recognizable pen wastes no time in throwing function out the window for form, and comes complete with a lid cap that fills in the remainder of Gon's hair.
Originally unveiled at the Bandai Spirits booth during the Jump Festa ‘25 event, it wouldn't be a surprise if this quickly becomes a hot-ticket item at arcades across Japan. The pen can also function when not in use as a figure, giving at least some viable functionality to the product.
Available starting today at arcades across Japan, those interested in getting their hands on their own Gon Freecss pen can check out BANPRESTO's official website for information on arcades with inventory available.
