Building off the excitement of Hikaru Utada's latest single "Mine or Yours," their performance on THE FIRST TAKE, as well as a slew of remix releases throughout 2025, Utada has today announced her Electricity Remixes EP will be coming to digital platforms, alongside a vinyl release, on July 9, 2025.

The digital version of the five-track EP contains the original "Electricity" single from late 2024, as well as remixes from three separate internationally recognizable musicians – Karen Nymae KG, Arca, and salute – before capping off with an instrumental version of the track. This instrumental for "Electricity" will be absent from the vinyl release, which is now available for pre-order for ¥3,800 (tax excluded) / ¥4,180 (tax included).
