Yesterday we reported on the announcement of the audio from the live The Music of MOTHER event being released on CD/vinyl this summer, but HOBONICHI is keeping the announcements rolling with a new event starting late July 2025.

Being held at the HOBONICHIYOBI event space on the 8th floor of Shibuya PARCO, The Shape of MOTHER will be an exhibition featuring the 180 original clay figures created for the promotion and supporting materials of MOTHER and MOTHER 2/EarthBound. This special gallery will be the first and only time many of these figures will have been available for the public to view them in person, with only a select number of them shown off at last year's Secrets of MOTHER 2 exhibition. HOBONICHI warns that some of the figures may show signs of deterioration from years in storage, but given the quality of what they had on display during last year's event this will surely be exciting to any fans of the franchise to check out.

The event begins on 25 July, 2025 and runs through 8 September. Tickets to the event will cost ¥1,800 and select dates will require advance purchase while general days will be available to purchase on-location.

More information can be found on The Shape of MOTHER official website.
