DOKAPON! Sword of Fury coming to Steam in 2025

The remastered edition of DOKAPON! Sword of Fury (originally released in 1998 on PlayStation) is coming soon to PC via Steam. Developer STING announced that the board game meets RPG party game is on its way to PC complete with online play support sometime in 2025 and has opened the official Steam store page so you can add it to your wishlist.

Billed by the developers themselves as "the ultimate relationship-ruining board game x RPG" sees players navigating a board to engage in turn-based RPG styled battles where they can level up and, more importantly, collect money. The winners is the player with the most money at the end of the game, and the game allows (even encourages) players to be cutthroat in their quest for victory.

DOKAPON! Sword of Fury was released on Nintendo Switch last year, but this new PC version is the first to include English language support including voice acting. The original game is notorious amongst fans of the franchise, so this is definitely one to look out for if you're looking for a fun and competitive game to test your friendships with.
