Hikaru Utada - "Electricity Karen Nyame KG Remix" Pre-Release Party

A new remix of Hikaru Utada's song "Electricity" by London-based producer Karen Nyame KG is set to drop on February 15, 2025 and all of the stops are being pulled to celebrate this new release. Taking place on February 14, 2025 a pre-release party for the remix featuring performances from Karen Nyame KG, DJ YANATAKE, and DJ POIPOI will be held at the EXPO '70 Pavillion in Osaka where fans will get a chance to hear the track before anyone else.

In addition to the performances from the 3 DJs, a special installation of "NINE STORIES" will open and run through February 24, 2025. This installation will act as a prelude to the release of the NINE STORIES photobook which collects the essence of Utada's SCIENCE FICTION TOUR through the eyes of nine talented photographers across nine cities.

Attendees to the event and installation will also receive a bonus Takoyaki Kuma-chan sticker. More details, including pricing, can be found at the event's official website.

In addition to the pre-release party Karen Nyame KG will be performing at 2 additional release parties for the remix at Circus Osaka on February 14, 2025 and Music Bar Lion in Tokyo on February 15, 2025. Details below:
