Today marks the release of Hikaru Utada's Electricity Remixes EP on vinyl and digital, and to celebrate the iconic artist has also upgraded 22 of their classic music videos to 4K across all major platforms. Originally released in 2024, these upgraded versions have replaced the source video for previous uploads and are available now.

Having watched a handful of the videos, it's nice to see that they're proper upgrades and not the kind of muddy, AI processed 4K updates that some other people in the industry have utilized. Older videos still show a bit of their ages in the visuals, but they've never been more crisp and they're definitely worth revisiting in higher quality if you haven't watched them in a while.
