Announced earlier today, massively popular Japanese idol group FRUITS ZIPPER will be performing the upcoming opening theme for Crayon Shin-Chan starting from October 4, 2025. The song, titled "HACHA MECHA WACHA LIFE!" will be the first theme song change for the series since 2020, marking five years of Macaroni Empitsu's "Hashirigaki" coming to a close.

While the actual track itself is yet to be revealed, we're just over a month from hearing the new sound for the foreseeable future for the series' opening. This also isn't the first time we're seeing FRUITS ZIPPER's agency Asobisystem team up with the series, with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's songs frequently being attached to films for the franchise.
