It was just last week that we got a new trailer for the upcoming Ranma 1/2 remake, and today we're treated to another new look at the series in the form of it's opening! Set to the track "Iinazukekkyun" by Ano, the opening features a bunch of nods to different scenes from the original manga/anime while also showing the characters in new scenes that perfectly demonstrate their personalities (dysfunction and all) while showing off the fun and heart the series holds. Fans of the original series will also appreciate what seem like little nods to the original "Jajauma ni Sasenaide" opening with the gong at the beginning, and the tai chi choreography during the first breakdown.
Animated by MAPPA, the Ranma 1/2 remake starts airing on October 5, 2024 on Netflix.
