While perhaps best known internationally for his work on the serial experiments lain series, yoshitoshi ABe's 30-year career has spawned numerous works worthy of their own exhibition. From his original manga-turned-anime NieA_7, all the way through to his illustrations for the novel All You Need Is Kill, which would later receive a Hollywood adaptation under the name Edge of Tomorrow, yoshitoshi ABe has celebrated an incredible career.
In addition to original pieces and sketches related to his work in anime and manga, a new special "Lain in Shibuya" exhibit will be on display featuring life size drawings of Lain Iwakuri printed with new high-resolution techniques.
Beyond the artwork on display during "ENKAN KITEN", those in attendance can also look forward to original goods, which have yet to be announced, though will likely be showcased in the coming weeks.
Tickets for the exhibition will cost 1,000 yen, while tickets bundled with goods will cost 1,800 yen. Similarly, the goods included with the tickets have not yet been detailed.
