Nintendo Stores in Japan go ape with a new line of Donkey Kong themed goods

Donkey Kong sure is in the spotlight lately what with the opening of the Donkey Kong area of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan, the Switch re-release of Donkey Kong Country Returns, and even the recently announced Ichiban Kuji. Today the big ape gets another primary placement with a new line of items dropping exclusively at Nintendo Stores in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.

The new collection of items range from small rubber mascot keychains to bags, to apparel. We're especially excited to see them playing with different motifs from the games such as the iconic DK barrels for this release instead of just a bunch of printed goods, although lets be honest the Nintendo Store merch always goes way harder than stuff you find at typical retail.

Pricing on the items range from ¥1,100 for the smaller items up to ¥7,700 for the Donkey & Diddy Kong fleece hoodie & jumper. You can see the full list at the official Nintendo Store website for the collection. All items are available for purchase starting today.
