Officially set to begin airing today in Japan, streaming globally via Crunchyroll, and following a theatrical run of the series' first two episodes, KAMITSUBAKI CITY UNDER CONSTRUCTION is almost upon us.

Today, we got our first look at the long-term plan surrounding merchandise, with the announcement of the release of three separate Blu-ray sets, with the Vol. 3 set containing an exclusive 1/7 scale figure of the series' main character, Kafu Morisaki, and her familiar Laplus, amongst other exclusive items.

While the package is likely exclusive to Japan, it's going to be a must-have for fans of KAF, who the character Kafu Morisaki is based on, or hardcore fans of the anime series. The full breakdown of the Blu-ray volumes can be found below:

Vol. 1 of the Blu-ray is scheduled for release on October 3, 2025, priced at 13,000 yen, and will include original artwork, pre-sale access to an upcoming V.W.P concert, a promo card for the KAMITSUBAKI CARD GAME, as well as a special booklet.

Vol. 2 of the Blu-ray will release on November 5, 2025, similarly priced at 13,000 yen, and will include original artwork, a promo card for the KAMITSUBAKI CARD GAME, as well as a special booklet.

Vol. 3 will come in two editions, the above limited edition version including the 1/7 scale figure for 21,500 yen, and a regular edition for 13,000 yen. Both will release on December 3, 2025, and include original artwork, a promo card for the KAMITSUBAKI CARD GAME, as well as a special booklet.

Based on the real members of the virtual artist group V.W.P (Virtual Witch Phenomenon), KAMITSUBAKI CITY UNDER CONSTRUCTION is described as a music-driven sci-fi original anime series.

Seven years after humanity was devastated by a major disaster, a beacon of science and prosperity rises in Kamitsubaki City. But lurking in its shadows are Tesseractor monsters born from human darkness. Only the Witchling, five girls with Song of Purification, stand against them.
