BANDAI SPIRITS announced a new Ichiban Kuji no-lose lottery today in collaboration with Nintendo featuring the one and only leader of the DK Crew, Donkey Kong. The new Ichiban Kuji prize selection is available exclusively at Lawson and Nintendo Stores across Japan starting on January 17, 2025. Much like every other Ichiban Kuji lottery, it costs ¥700 yen to participate and there's a whole banana-load of prizes that can be won.

If you're not familiar with the Ichiban Kuji system, each location has their own allotment of prizes and when you enter you get a pull tab ticket with a specified letter on it. Whatever letter you reveal when open your ticket will correspond to one of a number of prizes, and prizes are ranked from A through H with the higher letters (A, B, C) available in far fewer quantities per location than the others. In addition, a last prize item is also available if you happen to be lucky to purchase the final ticket in a location's lottery pack.

The A prize for this particular Kuji collection is a giant stuffed banana adorned with Donkey Kong's logo and visage, the last prize is a custom banana holder! The other prizes in the draw look great too and range from keychains and notepads to mugs and a blanket.
