Back in April in the "Little Edo" area of Kawagoe, Saitama the inaugural Burari Kawagoe GAMEDIGG event was held in an attempt to simultaneously promote indie game developers and local businesses. It was a cute event with a lot of great titles on display, but it was unfortunately somewhat hampered by the rainy weather on the day with a lot of its booths being located outdoors. For those who attended though, the positive impression of the event was widely felt and there was hope for another to be held.

Thankfully it appears that hope will be coming to bear, with a mini edition of the event announced to take place on 18 October, 2025 coinciding with the local Kawagoe Festival. Details on the event are scarce as they are making the initial announcement for the sake of attracting exhibitors, but we do know that the event will be primarily held at the Koetoko cultural building again.

The map and schedule for the event is set to be released at the beginning of October, so we'll surely be keeping an eye out for more details. Announcements will be made on the event's official website.
